When the kids come in and say, "I'm bored!" Maybe take a break from the T.V. and computer to do arts and crafts.

make fingerprint animals
make yarn animals
make old sock puppets and have a puppet show
cook a quiet lunch and eat at the table
make a noodle or yarn art
make playdoe
make bubbles
